Areas of Interest
___
A. Regenerative Medicine
Since the discovery of antibiotics back in the 19th century, modern medicine has pre-dominantly followed a destructive approach in which diseases were commonly treated by consuming a pill or a substance specifically designed to kill a bug or a germ that was primarily causing the disease.
Persistent antibiotic misuse over the years has led to the rise of new strains of antibiotic resistant bacteria. Moreover, with the destructive model of medicine showing its limitations in certain diseases such as cancer, interest has shifted into a new model of medicine often deemed as the model of the future.

Instead of killing something, this regenerative model involves the process of replacing, re-engineering or regenerating cells, tissues or organs to restore its normal function. Regenerative medicine focuses mainly on stem cells, which have the remarkable potential to develop into many different cell types in the body.
B. Post-natal Periods
There are different classifications of pregnancy periods but we focus mainly on the post-natal classification.
Post-Natal = After birth of child
Pregnancy is a fascinating process, in just a period of 9 months, the fertilized egg develops into a baby. This period represents a time of remarkable stem cell activity. For the past 3 and a half years, Green Oasis has invested our resources and scientific team to examine the post-natal periods of pregnancy in greater detail, a target for the drugs or treatments that we want to formulate.
